Hot foil stamping presses a metallic film into the board under heat and pressure, which is why it reflects light and a printed gold ink never quite does. We stamp gold, silver, rose gold, copper and holographic foils, either across a full panel or restricted to a logo for contrast.
Where you want the whole pack to shimmer rather than one element, metalized and holographic card stock carries the effect across the entire surface, with your artwork printed over the top so the metallic shows through the unprinted areas.
