Sustainable packaging only counts if it holds up in use and actually recycles at the end. This range is specified for both, not just for the look of it.
These packs use recycled and responsibly sourced board that recycles through standard household streams, printed with soy and water-based inks rather than solvent-based alternatives. Where a product allows it, we specify fully compostable, plastic-free stock with no laminate layer at all.
A card box with a plastic window is not recyclable in most kerbside collections, because the film has to be separated first. Where a product needs to be visible we can use compostable film, or design a die-cut opening that shows the product without any film at all.
The lowest-impact box is the one that uses less. Building a carton to your product's true dimensions cuts board use and shipping volume at the same time, which usually lowers cost alongside footprint. Our design team will flag where a size change would do that.
